Die Lufthansa Gruppe (WKN:823212) hat im zweiten Quartal 2022 einen Umsatz von 8.4 Millarden Euro erwirtschaftet. Im Vergleichsquartal 2021 waren es nur 3.2 Millarden, ein Plus von 164%. Auch der operative Cashflow ist um 258% auf 2.9 Millarden Euro gestiegen. Das sind Zahlen die wieder Hoffnung unter die Flügel des Kranich bringen. Auch schien der Sommer, trotz vielen Streichungen und Kompensationen, ein guter zu werden. Wir warten gespannt auf die Daten für das dritte Quartal.

Der Bund steigt aus

Die Zeit ist gekommen, dass auch der Bund die letzten Verflechtungen aus dem Rettungspacket kappt und den Kranich in die Freiheit entlässt. Gestern hat der Bund die restlichen Lufthansa Anteile von 10% abgestoßen und damit einen Gewinn von 760 Millionen Euro erwirtschaftet. Das ist allerdings nicht das Einzige was der Staat an der Misere der Lufthansa verdient hat. Sicherlich hat der Staat geholfen als es kein anderer getan hat und die Not am größten war. Und doch gibt es auch beim Staat nichts umsonst. Im Gegenteil, die Zinsen der bereits zurückgezahlten Darlehen hatten es in sich. Deswegen hatte es die Lufthansa auch eilig, sich neues Geld am Kapitalmarkt zu besorgen. Die vom Staat erworbenen Aktien gab es zu einem Bruchteil des Marktwertes. Kein Wunder, dass der Staat bei einem immer noch niedrigen Lufthansa Kurs so viel Gewinn gemacht hat.

FAZIT

Am Ende hat der Staat im Sinne der Steuerzahler ein gutes Geschäfts gemacht. Mal abgesehen von der Kurzarbeit (das Geld sollte wieder drin sein) hat es dem Staat keine Verluste gebracht, die Lufthansa ist gerettet (mit 10 Millarden Schulden auf dem Buckel) und alle sind glücklich.
